Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.

From your location, just 5 minutes from the Big Sky Mountain Village Base Area and 15 minutes from the Big Sky Town Center, you’ll have easy access to alpine and Nordic skiing, hiking and biking trails, fishing, rafting, shops and restaurants. Yellowstone National Park is just under an hour away. With driveway parking for two cars, you can easily explore Big Sky’s many year-round adventures. Blue Grouse Hills is the perfect year-round location for a quiet family retreat to Big Sky, abutting rolling sagebrush and forested hills near Town Center. This quaint neighborhood features a small handful of townhome duplexes styled on the exterior as log cabins with all the comforts of home inside—and lots of outdoor living space for lawn games or playing in the yard. Big Sky Town Center is a 10-minute walk or short drive, where guests will find many of our favorite local shops, restaurants, groceries, and nightlife. Other nearby activities include fly-fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive to the south, most of which is through the scenic northwest corner of the park and Gallatin National Forest.

Gray Owl Retreat is an unforgettable 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with sweeping mountain views that sleeps 10. This retreat is nestled on 1 acre of land surrounded by 15 acres of green space, and is home to elk, foxes, and abundant wildlife. Guests will love relaxing in the private outdoor spa, playing shuffleboard or ping pong in the game room or utilizing the golf hitting cage and basketball hoop in the summer.

Stunning views come with the Lone View Lodge home in Mountain Village, with ski access to Big Sky Resort via the White Otter and Cascade chair lifts. It’s just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park in the summer. The secluded location of this home affords spectacular mountain views from all angles. There are four bedrooms in total, two with king beds and private baths, a third with a queen bed, and a fourth with a twin bunk bed set and captain’s bunk bed set. The third and fourth bedrooms share a bath. A downstairs family room includes a home theater and gas fireplace, making it a comfortable retreat for the family in addition to the living room. This home also offers a private outdoor hot tub as well as a gas grill, Direct TV, and wireless internet. For your convenience Lone View also provides a laundry room and a two-car garage.

Offering ski access via the Cascade and White Otter lifts, the Hoos Views home is a true mountain paradise. With nearly 5,000 square feet, there are 5 bedrooms—two kings, two queens, and one bunk room with two twins and two doubles. The two luxurious master suites are furnished with gas fireplaces. In addition to two large family rooms, there is also a home office. The large kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line granite countertops and Thermador appliances, including a 6-burner stove and double oven with indoor grill top, two refrigerators, and a walk-in pantry. Guests can choose to dine in the large dining area or outside on the large wraparound deck with ceiling heaters. Other amenities include a house-wide Sonos sound system and two home theater systems, two sets of washer/dryers, an outdoor gas fire pit, large gas grill, 8-person outdoor hot tub, separate ski/gear room, and 2-car garage.
